SEO Guy For Hire

Gary, your future SEO guyYour offer looks great, Gary. How can I hire YOU as my SEO guy?”

Hey, I’d love to be your SEO guy if I could, so let’s get started.

First off, please provide me with your website address and the search terms you are wishing to target (learn more about the ideal search terms) and anything else you feel I might need to know.

I will reply to the email address you enter, using this subject line…

When I get your email, I do 2 things

1) Feasibility check
I investigate the level of difficulty involved in getting onto page one for each of those terms. This involves assessing the strength of the competition that is already there on page one, because I need to push somebody off the front page in order to get you on there.

2) Website check
I will also take a first look at your site’s code to try to identify any issues that may be impediments to getting your site onto page one. These are the “on page” optimization issues mentioned in the box in the right hand column.

After I do my checking…

  • If I am confident I CAN get you onto page one, I will send you the payment details (Paypal or bank transfer). I will be ready to start work for you the day after I receive your payment.
  • If I feel I can NOT get you onto page one for your preferred search terms, I will let you know this and will offer to look for ALTERNATIVE TERMS which are both acceptable to you and feasible from my point of view as an SEO guy.

When your payment is received, one of the first things I do is work on any obvious on-page SEO problems (just what you’d expect your SEO guy to do, right?).

As well as any issues that were identified in the pre-quote website check, I take a deeper look at your site. I like to get these taken care of in the first few days, usually before starting on the linking work.

You will receive detailed instructions about what needs fixing for SEO reasons, then either you can pass that along to your webmaster, or do it yourself, or hire me to do it for you.

If you choose to hire me, an hourly rate applies and I would need your login information (login URL, username, password) but to be candid, I’d prefer that your webmaster takes care of these things for you as he/she will be familiar with the inner workings of your site whereas I wont be.

If you have any questions, do please let me know

You can expect a prompt reply from me personally because I’m not part of some big faceless corporation. I work for myself at home, as an SEO guy, delivering great service to my clients for a reasonable fee.

SEO guy says:

“Let’s talk about the ideal search term”

It’s usually 3-5 words long. This will usually have less competition for us to outperform in Google. Sure, the traffic volumes will be lower for these “long tail keywords” but the traffic you get will be more targeted.

In 2008 Google’s Avinash Kaushik stated that the average Google query consisted of 4 words.

These days many (but not all) 2-word search terms are extremely competitive… which means it’s highly unlikely you can get on page one for “learn guitar” for example. However a 3-word search term like “learn guitar software” is a lot more achievable.
Sometimes even 5-word expressions are highly competitive, meaning that page one is full (or nearly full) of strong sites with high pagerank and many thousands of backlinks including links from authority websites in their niche.

Talking about traffic volumes, what’s better?

  • Scenario 1: There are 2 million searches a month for this particular phrase, but you’re listed on page 4.
  • Scenario 2: There are only 2000 searches a month for that term, but you’re on page 1.

Me? I’ll choose PAGE ONE anyday because that’s where the overwhelming majority of the search traffic is. And if I accept your business, my team and I will be working to deliver you that Google top listing. Click here to get started now.

Your future SEO Guy.
